Ardhi University 10 years anniversary opening ceremony.

The Ardhi University 10 years anniversary opening ceremony was held at Ardhi University grounds at Arch Plaza.
This event was hosted by the Vice Chancellor of Ardhi University Prof. Evaristo Liwa.

The guests of honor were The Prime Minister of The United Republic of Tanzania Hon. Majaliwa Kassim Majaliwa, and The Minister of Education Science and Technology of the United Republic of Tanzania Hon. Prof. Joyce Ndalichako

The 10 years anniversary ceremony was also attended by other distinguished guests such as the Vice Chancelor of University of Dar es Salaam Prof. Rwekeza Mkandala, The Ambassador of Sweden in Tanzania, The Ambassador of Norway in Tanzania, Members of the Senate of Ardhi University, and many other.

This event was accompanied by exhibitions from Ardhi University teaching staff and students.

The Tanzania Police Brass Band prepared a special song and a poem special for Ardhi University  10 years anniversary ceremony.

After brief speeches from Hon. Majaliwa Kassim Majaliwa and Hon. Prof. Joyce Ndalichako, The Prime Minister of the United Republic of Tanzania Hon. Majaliwa Kassim Majaliwa inaugurated the foundation stone of 10 years anniversary of Ardhi University on the Arch Plaza building.

The event was then accompanied by another session of direct addressing to the students by the Minister of Education, Science and Technology Hon. Prof. Joyce Ndalichako and the Ardhi University management.

This session was about students asking questions that concern them mainly about Loans and given feedback.

Among the decions made on this session were;

• The Vice Chancellor of Ardhi University Prof. Evaristo Liwa instructed that, students with loans allocations, their loans will be disbursed effective immediately regardless of their registration status so that they complete registration on time.
• The Minister of Education, Science and Technology of the United Republic of Tanzania Hon. Prof. Joyce Ndalichako gave directives to the Vice Chancellor of Ardhi University Prof. Evaristo Liwa to remove the loan officer from office upon the request of students due to persistent inefficiency that he has shown in the period he has been in office.
• The Minister of Education, Science and Technology of the United Republic of Tanzania Hon. Prof. Joyce Ndalichako has promised to give 1.5 Billion Tshs to Ardhi University so that they can start construction of new hall(s) of residence of the university around campus.
